It's Kaylin's 11'th BIRTHDAY! Hard to believe we will have 3 teenagers soon. Here's the kids today out front testing Ryan's gift to Kaylin. It was a memory-foam cushion seat for her bike so she could ride in comfort. What a good brother!

Yea that's me in the Cardinal costume scaring little kids in Teeter park at the Ohio State Fair when I worked for the Youth Conservation Corps back in 1981. As you can see I'm scaring my niece Annie Rae Dawn Howard who was 8 mos old...there's Sheri Berry (or is that one of the Wilson sisters from the band Heart)? And there's my Mom. Hey...I think if you look hard enough that's Beth hiding behind Mom's hat. Yep!

Kaylin Rae is in her second cross country season and if she has her way...it'll be her last. She's said she's going to be a swimmer again and get back in the pool summer 2009.

Kaylin Rae - 11 going on 21

Kaylin Rae Howard is the light of our lives. She's SO much fun and so mature for her age. We forget she's only 11. She has recently decided to be a "girly girl" more so. You'll now see her dressed up wearing lots of pink clothes and ready to take on the runway. Kaylin keeps her brothers in line...she always has. She drives a dirt bike, swims like a fish and gets straight A's...just like her parents did. Yea right! Kaylin loves her dogs...maybe she'll be a veternarian when she grows up.

Ryan Christopher - 14

Remember when Ryan was a good natured-loving-quiet-sweet little boy? Well that's all changed! He's full of energy-loves to make jokes (those need some work) and has a laugh like no other person you've heard. Ry has some really strong convictions at his age which sets him apart. He's a deep thinker. We often look at each other in wonderment after some of the things Ryan says. Like...where'd you come up with that? Ry makes the young ladies woozy with his charm and natural good looks. He's planning on working out...one day (maybe in Obama's second term).

Austin Howard - 16

Austin is a stud muffin...well that's what he'd have you believe. Austin turned 16 recently and has his drivers license. Austin attends Liberty HS and is a Sophomore this year. School work and good grades come easy for the lad-both Kim and I are jealous but very happy about that. He's a natural at basketball and very passionate about it. Every spare moment he's outside working on his shots while listening to his iPod and texting with one hand behind his back. He tries to make me feel guilty that he's not 6' 2" but hey what could I do? That's nature bub! At least your taller than me. Better switch to baseball soon!
